You know what is pathetic? I have a load in the washer and one in the dryer and 3 more in baskets. Conclusion: we own too many clothes! Question: what on earth did my kids wear to school today?
My bedroom looks like your couch. And my couch looks like your couch. I've drawn the same conclusion. We have too much stuff. So I'm making Giveaway Piles like crazy, but I think the piles of clothes are duplicating themselves when I'm not looking.
I like Kellie's idea. I'm all for community laundry days. You all don't even have to help me. Just entertain me while I work.

This post is funny, in a "I'm ignoring the matching pile that sits on my own brown couch," kind of way....
I wish we lived closer! Than we could have something hot to drink and ignore our piles together!

If you would get better at delegating, these kinds of things wouldn't happen. Don't you have like 4 kids or something...
